Bhamrocks’ 4th Anniversary at Bottletree

Come to Bottletree on Saturday, May 3 for Bhamrocks’ 4th Anniversary party! Join the site’s founders and collaborators as they celebrate four years of service to the Magic City’s thriving music scene. “There is such a renewed sense of community here in Birmingham,” says Tre’ Brannum of Bhamrocks. “More musicians are seeing the community come together to foster a better environment for them to be heard.”

There’s no doubt that progress has been made. As the scene continues to grow, more opportunities arise for our new and established musicians. “Don’t even get me started on all the great sound engineers and studios popping up around town,” Brannum continues. “I would love to be a teenager starting a band in Birmingham right now.”

After doors open at 8 p.m., DJ LeeJ (BMR) will start the night off with Drizzy Dro. Next, Bhamrocks will record their 100th podcast featuring interviews local artists and new music by Jesse Payne, Beitthemeans, and others. Then comes the feature presentation- live sets by Roshambeaux and Barefoot Moses!

Riff-centric Roshambeaux hail from Georgia, but are no strangers to the Birmingham music scene. Their rock n roll sound is generated by a guitar/drums duo that easily pulls audiences into a loose, slightly dirty groove.

Barefoot Moses, a rebirth of Birmingham’s Mile Maker 7, are dynamic in every combination of their four-piece act: aggressive and mellow, acoustic and electric, lyrics shifting between high velocity raps and arresting harmonies. “That band works harder than any band I’ve seen,” says Brannum.

The celebration will take place in one of the most influential venues from the revival of Birmingham’s music scene. “The Bottletree is such a jewel for Birmingham,” says Brannum. “It offers an intimate, listener friendly room for a party like the one we are hosting on May 3rd.” In addition to the music and podcast, expect to see the folks from Bham Beer Buzz and a special announcement from Bhamrocks.

Doors open at 8 p.m. Visit Bottletree’s site for tickets.
